HOW SIPPERMENT BOTTLES AND PODS WORKS

If you find the smell pleasant, you're more likely to drink the water. It was a pleasant change from the regular water you’re used to drinking, adding an added layer of sensory activation to an otherwise mundane experience.
 
Here's the process: You fill up the bottle with water, drop one of the scented pods on top of the bottle snout, and drink from it as usual. You can just drink normally — no special sipping technique required.
 
With the pod in, the water flavored its scents and refreshing, similar to the taste of water that's been infused with actual fruit. The flavours travel through your mouth to your nose where your brain interprets it as flavor. HOW LONG DOES A FLAVOUR POD LAST?

Another important factor when discussing flavor is how long the pods can be used. Each pod is designed to flavor approximately 10L of water. One week is the ideal time for you to get the optimal flavor per pod.

Get ready to welcome a Sipperment water bottle into your life. While flavoured water bottle trends and features may not change as fast as smartphones or watches, it’s important to keep some key considerations in mind. These features will influence your water bottle decision as you shop.
Ease of Use: Do you grow attached to your things if they’re comfortable? Do you want something that feels like an extension of your body, that you can carry easily everywhere?
You can buy a bpa-free plastic bottle with a screw cap and not too heavy that you can stuff into your backpacking gear without adding too much weight. 22 ounces to 34 ounces is the most portable size.
Temperature Control: Do you want to use your bottle for both hot and cold water? Or, do you want your water bottle to keep the contents a certain temperature? You’ll need a stainless steel insulated water bottle for that.

 

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR BOTTLE

Despite only holding water, bottles get gross. Mold can grow quickly, especially if you leave the cap on. Straws and mouthpieces accumulate bacteria, oils and grime from your mouth and any dirt and dust they pick up in your backpack.
 
Bottles are recommended to be hand-washed, and be sure to take everything fully apart first, like any silicone pieces that can trap bacteria. For flip-top insulated bottle lids that have more nooks and crannies, we recommend hand-washing by soaking it in soapy water and then scrubbing.
 
Get yourself a bottle brush and straw brush. A straw brush is included in the accessories. Even if you don't use straws, the smaller brush can be used to get into any crevices. It only needs to be cleaned with regular dish soap to clean very well.
 
Plastic bottles have a tendency to trap odors over time. You can fix this by putting a teaspoon of bleach and a teaspoon of baking soda in the bottle, filling it up with water, and letting it sit overnight. Rinse it out well the next day.
